The Pull of Love
When I get out of the room, the pain in my back has long faded ever since Cloud stayed with me for almost a day. We ate in the same room. He never wanted to leave the room because he wanted to see me fully healed. Though I have tried to tell that I would be perfectly fine, he insisted on staying with me. Plus, he told me that Isaiah would want to see his mate getting healed and he never trusted anyone. Isaiah wanted to see for himself that I would be fine. They are such a beautiful mate for me. Looking at my new family, as I go down, Cloud is waiting for me at the end of the stairs, offering his hand for me to take and when I reach the last step of the stairs, I take his hand slowly and our eyes meet.
