Evelyn frowned slightly. "He didn't say why he's here?"
"I did ask, but he just mentioned that he's a friend of yours and that you had a meeting scheduled today to discuss a partnership," the secretary replied cautiously. She then added, "He looks young, probably around thirty; he's quite handsome actually."
"Let him in." Evelyn didn't remember planning a meeting with any young man, but since he came anyway, perhaps he was sent by someone she knew. Meeting him was necessary.
Soon, the secretary showed in a young man.
"Mrs. Clifford, we meet again." The young man flashed a gentle smile as he greeted Evelyn. She had met him twice before, once when she and Gavin went to finalize a deal with the Reeve Group, and again last night at the Grandtaste Restaurant.
