As soon as Gavin spoke, the room erupted into laughter. Bill laughed so hard he fell into his chair, taking a moment to catch his breath. His eyes sparkled with amusement as he said, "Punk, are you the heir to some wealthy family?"
In reality, when Gavin called Daniel 'Dad', Bill didn't think Gavin was anyone important. He just said it to tease him.
"Mr. Wright, there's no way he's from a wealthy family," Cathy sneered from the side. "He's nothing but a good-for-nothing who mooched his way into the Reeve family by marrying his daughter. Calling him an i***t would be putting it lightly."
Gavin's piercing gaze suddenly landed on Cathy, and with just one look, she felt like she was staring into an abyss. She shivered and quickly hid behind Garvin.
