David suddenly realized that Gavin had intentionally allowed Baron to leave. Right after stepping out of the Moonlight Tavern, Baron removed a tiny listening device from his ear. A cold smile appeared on his face as he remarked, "No one will ever find her."
Meanwhile, Gavin and David left the bar together.
"Why don't we just take him to the Allen family and make them hand over Susan?" David asked while driving, trailing behind closely.
"If we do that before we find Susan, we risk putting her in danger," Gavin replied, his expression icy.
"Are we really going to let the Allen family get away with this?" David questioned, frustration evident in his voice.
"Don't worry, the Allen family will pay for this," Gavin assured with steely resolve in his eyes.
