It is already four days since little Iris has disappeared in the thick forest, after the disagreement she had with her parents.
She is only five years old with petite silhouette, light brown hair and those beautiful bright green eyes that makes anyone to fall in love with.
Her parents and everyone from the little village they live in, is looking for her. She is nowhere to be found in to the woods and they afraid for the worst. There is no way to go deeper in the forest because they know that something dangerous live in it.
"Iris... Iris where are you?!!! Mommy and Daddy are looking for you!" Her father Daniel shouted.
"Please sweetie come back! Everything will be Okey! We won't get mad at you for running in there! Stop hiding!" he kept saying.
"Please baby, don't do this to Mummy! We can discuss it this time! You can tell us everything that is going on and we won't force you to go to uncle's Tomas house!" her mother Irene kept screaming.
Her eyes were swollen and the tears kept falling all those days!
The dawn was there. They couldn't see a thing in the forest and the little girl was all these days without food and water. Her parents were sure that they won't see their little angel again. They started to lose their energy and their hopes fainted.
Daniel hugged his wife with tears on their eyes, thanked the villagers that helped them all this time. Everyone turned to go back to their homes.
But suddenly Irene froze and turned to the forest again and tried to listen. Daniel stood next to her unsure, what is going on, until his wife pushed him and run towards into the darkness. And then he hears it too!
"Mommy.... Daddy.... I am here! I can't see you! It is so dark! I don't want to die here! I love you! Don't leave me!"
His little daughter's voice.
He started to run between long trees and bushes next to Irene, until they both saw her small figure. They took her in a big hug and felt all the sadness get away.
"I am sorry Mummy and Daddy. When we had the fight the other day, I get so mad and I ran so deep in the forest. I couldn't find my way back." She said as soon as she cried.
"It was so dark and I didn't see the big hole, so I fell in and hit my ankle. I was trying and trying to get up on the surface but kept falling, until I hit my head on a rock!"
She looked at their worried faces. Both of them, ready to grab her and emerge to the hospital but then she said "I don't know how much time I was unconscious but a boy found me and helped me to climb the hole and brought me here. He had taken care my hurted ankle and head too before that. He isn't much older than me I think but he is so cool! I haven't seen him before and I forgot to ask him his name! How am I gonna thank him now and be friends? He has got two big purple eyes. I loved them so much Mommy."
Her parents were still worrying about the scratches and brushes she had on her body and thought the memory of an unknown boy with the purple eyes is from the hitting head or her fantasy. They knew everyone in their village.
Daniel stood up, took gently his little daughter in his arms and headed to the hospital.
Iris understood that noone believed her about the boy in the forest, but she kept talking about him constantly for months. She tried many times to find him but she was afraid to go deeper into the woods again after what she had gone through.
The time passed. Iris couldn't find him or any clue that he really existed. She started to believe that he wasn't real after all and the memory of the stranger boy in the forest faded away.
