MADDIE'S POV. It’s been two weeks, and things with Jeremy have only gotten worse. He doesn’t talk to me. Not even a glance, not a flicker of acknowledgment. The silence is suffocating, pressing down on my chest, making it hard to breathe. Every time I see him in the same room, my stomach twists, my heart stutters—but he looks through me, like I don’t exist. And it’s killing me. Slowly.
