I looked at my son running around as I waited for my daughter to return with her mother from Vampora, she was visiting a suitable noble family, well, let's say royalty, to be mated so that it would help our treaty more. I had preferred Ironside, but we chose to help bring peace to the lands. My mate, Gina, was a great fighter; I had trained her, unknown to the Elders, because women were not allowed to fight; I had my strongest guards with them, and I awaited good news. I changed into my bear, Bogar, and we headed out to the waterfall where most of our people swim and play. I felt something was wrong as I changed back, breathing heavily, but I brushed it off and decided to head back. When I got to my doorstep, I felt pain like I hadn't before, and I passed out. I woke up one day later with th healers around me, and I asked, "What happened?" I rubbed my chest, feeling empty, and then I asked, "Where is my wife?"
Everyone bowed their head, and I walked outside to see everyone mourning; I yelled, "What is going on?" When my father looked at me and said, "We have sent men to bring the bodies home, I looked at him, confused, and asked, "What bodies?" I knew what he was going to say, but I needed to hear it as my heart was breaking. He said, "General Kolie notified us that Gina and Lorna were killed in an unprovoked attack," and I backed away, not believing it. I tried linking them, and nothing; my bear was silent, I screamed, fell to my knees, and passed out again. I woke up two days later and felt a presence in my room; it was Elijah, and I yelled, "Get out," and he looked at me unfazed. He stood there stoic, with no emotion, and I wanted to pound his face into next week; I yelled, "You promised me that my family would be safe, what are you not telling me, Elijah?" I already knew something bad happened, and I was ready to hear it, ready to avenge it.
I sat and listened to what Elijah had to say about the attack, and that no one knew those routes she took, so someone leaked that information; the only problem was, we didn't know if it was from my end or his. We both had enemies, and we decided to work together to flush them out. He also told me about the Rogue Vampires or Vampire killing unsuspecting women, and I was furious; if he had given me that information beforehand, I would have never sent my family there without me. However, my wife was a fighter, so no one vampire could have taken her out, and Elijah agreed. Bogar wanted revenge, but we needed to check on our young son to make sure he was okay before I left to kill some vampires, whoever they were. I looked at Elijah seeing that something was plaguing his mind, and he said, "It's not your concern but if you must know, one of my mistresses was with child," I smiled slapping him on the back, and said, "The cold one swimmers can swim, I see," and he hissed at me before we headed out.

Three Days Earlier
Elijah
I was ready to sign the treaty with the Bears and Shifters; we wanted peace, and King Ivar was on board. Kolie decided to mate the Bear King's Daughter, and we planned a meeting here and a brief ceremony. The Bear King would follow once the treaty on both sides was signed, and a public wedding would follow. Kolie didn't mind having a chosen mate since his mate died in childbirth, as he was raising his daughter alone. I had put off the coronation until after I dealt with the Bear King's treaty and Kolie's wedding, Jonx was excited that they agreed to let him mate me, but now, that has changed since Sherice is with a child, it will get complicated because they would want me to mark her instead and still have Jonx on the side just in case I ever find a fated mate. Which would make sense, but I haven't broken the news to him that it would be Sherice wearing the crown, not him, and I know that I will hurt him again after promising not to.
Kolie was excited to meet Lorna, and they hit it off; everything was signed and sealed; they stayed with Kolie in his residence for a few days before heading back to Bearmore, as Kolie decided to have the wedding there instead. He will follow a day after them, but will finalize a few things first. Kolie looked at me and then mind-linked me, "You need to tell Jonx the truth, the coronation will be here faster than you would like," and I smiled, heading to do so. I looked at the route the bears would use to leave the city, and it was the safest during the day; it would get them to their territory faster without harm. I rested the file down and headed to take a bath so I could meet with Jonx later.
Jonx was on the bed when I got out of the bath, and I smiled, saying, "You didn't wait for me to summon you," and he said, "Nope, I could sense that you need to relax, my love," and I sat on the bed as he massaged my shoulders. I was woken up by an alarm that bodies were found again; I didn't know when I fell asleep, and I saw Jonx wrapped up next to me, and I smiled. I told Kolie and Piot to deal with bodies as I headed over to check on Sherice; she was asleep, and she had a tiny baby bump. I listened to the strong heartbeat; I was excited to have an heir who would be legitimate once I mark and coronate her as my Queen. My mother was excited about a grandchild, and the Elders were pleased with the arrangement.
I heard Piot mind-linked me, saying, "You need to get to the lighthouse immediately, it's bad, Elijah," and I rushed out of the Palace and ran there. I saw Kolie hugging a woman in his arms, and I saw a few bodies that were attacked by rogue wolves, but the women were drained of their blood. I was confused; it seemed the Rogue Wolves and Vampires were working together, and I had no choice but to notify King Ivar and Joe about this. Kolie said he sent a message to the Bear King about his family, and this could start a civil war; someone was setting us up, and we needed to stop this quickly. I closed my eyes because Crazy Joe was not to be messed with; I told Kolie, "Get the bodies ready to be sent back," and I got on a horse heading to Bearmore to deliver the news face-to-face and ask for his help on this matter, making him understand that we didn't attack or kill his family.

Present Day
After the burial of the Bear King's family, the treaty was stronger, and Bears were roaming in Vampora to help neutralize the threat. King Ivar wasn't happy, and he and Joe were cousins despite being different species; Ivar was angry that the rogues were creating problems, and if not neutralized soon, would start a war. The Elves signed treaties as well, and I sent Piot to Dragomare to get the Dragon King to sign a treaty. Queen Marion was always an ally of ours, and she sent a few witches to help create special alarms on the border so we would know when the rogues crossed over. It was time for my wedding and Coronation; Jonx was not happy, and he chose not to attend. I understood his predicament, so I didn't force him to join us; the wedding went off without a hitch, and I saw my mother with her guard looking a little too close, but that is a story for another time.
I did the public marking, and then we were announced as husband and wife, along with her being the new Queen of Vampora; I eventually announced the pregnancy, and the Kingdom was overjoyed. King Ivar and Luna Gwen were in attendance, along with Queen Marion and her Consort, Dragu, along with King Silas and his wife, Queen Magda. Prince Emile attended in his father's place as he was away on other business. Many leads turn out to be dead ends, and we figured someone was having help to hide their wrongdoings; however, things died down a bit over the past few weeks. I saw Jonx watching in the distance, and I smiled, giving my attention to my new bride and dancing until it was time to go to bed and make love until she needed rest for the baby's sake.

Jonx
It's been four weeks since Elijah mate that b***h Sherice, and I can see she was having his heir, they just got back from their honeymoon in Elvira. Elvira was a tourist attraction because of its ancient history, one of the oldest Kingdoms in Ravena; it was rumored that the Moon Goddess stayed there when she walked the land. Elijah came to me last night, but I refused to see him; I was still hurting, and although I missed him, he lied to me, and I hated that he made a fool out of me. I decided to start seeing someone else, although it was forbidden, once I had the mistress mark in my case, paramour's mark. I went out to meet a cute guy I met the night after the wedding, and we hit it off; I snuck into his room, and boy, did we have fun. I love his c**k, and it made me see stars, although he was no Elijah.
I lay there ignoring Elijah's mind links so I could piss him off, and honestly, I loved the attention; I needed to prove to him I was worth it, and I was going to show him he made a mistake not mating me. After getting my back blown out, I was heading back to my quarters and saw that Elijah was on my bed; I ignored that he was there, and he asked, "Where were you?" I said, "Out, Your Majesty," and continued to take my clothes out of my chest of drawers. He touched my hand, and I felt him breathing on my shoulder, when he smelled the guy on me, and asked, "Who touched you?" He was angry but I didn't care so I replied with the same energy he gave me, "And who touched you," walking away from him when he pulled me back with such force I hit his chest hard, he grabbed my neck tightly but not to hurt me too much, he looked into my eyes, they were blood red, he was angry but tried to hide it.
He said, "You know the deal, Jonx, I had no choice," I yelled, "You had a choice, you are King, you just didn't fight hard enough because I wasn't worth it to you, why should you fight when you can have both of us?" My tears were falling at this point, my heart hurt, and he walked out saying, "If he touches you again, I will kill him." I compose myself, saying to myself, "Two can play that game," and set my sights on his Queen; if he touches her, I will kill her and the spawn she carries.
