Chapter Ten The Sight of SilvershadeAkra was alone when he heard the soft song of the Silvershade. The others had continued training after lunch. The table was still littered with leftovers but Akra didn’t feel hungry. He walked over to the packsack, opened it, and rummaged through it until he found the box containing the Silvershade. He opened the lid and lifted it out carefully. The Silvershade floated out of the box, a ghostly, glowing beauty against the darkness of the chamber.
