Rebecca’s POV  The weight of the bracelet was much more than I expected for its size. The silver bracelet belonging to my mother – her everyday accessory which she wore every single day – lay heavily against my skin, which made it feel heavy. It felt like a link to a life that was no longer mine. Alone on one empty stone seat in one of the less busy inner courtyards, I watched as my world disappeared before me. My father had gone.
