Poppie
The name "Bethany" made Poppie want to punch somebody. From what Mick had told her, their father had been obsessed with Anna's daughter even before their mother had died. She often wondered what it had been like for their mom, who'd known about Chandler's obsession. Had it broken her heart? Had she felt betrayed? Insignificant? Or had it been a type of relief since he'd been such an abusive husband?
Of course, he had been the all-mighty alpha of Shore Lake, so she'd probably been used to him straying. It was one of the reasons why Poppie never wanted to be claimed by one herself. She didn't like to share and definitely didn't like being told what to do. It was one of the reasons she sought out humans for pleasure.
"Well, we should let you go. Say hello to your brother for us,"
