Oh s**t! Shade reacted faster than Sheik could even register what had happened, and sprinted down the shore line. Our mate! The wolf barked as she did her best to break some of the distance. Getting as close as possible,she pushed off the ground and dove back into the water. Instinct took over, and they put everything they could into reaching Luanna.
Sheik could feel her heart stop as the fragile human body of her mate hit the water, and watched in terror as the force of the waterfall pushed her down further into the murky depths.
