I lay there, the dirt pressing against my face, my body trembling with a mixture of rage and helplessness. The chaos around me was deafening, the claws ripping through flesh, the howls of dying wolves, the distant shouts of my men taking their final brutal breath. My pride was shattered, my power stripped away like the tattered remnants of my dignity. I had watched them take everything, my men, my pride, my women.
