Epilogue

"Get your child, Christopher!" I yell at the bottom of the stairs. "Which one?" He says cheekily. "The oldest." I glare at him. "Colton Rodgers!" Chris booms. "Yeah Dad?" Colton skids to a stop next to me at the foot of the stairs. "Leave your sisters alone!" He says. "But-" "But nothing the twins didn't do anything to you quit terrorizing them. Go with Amelio in the other room while your uncles and I talk." "Fine." My twelve year old son grumbled. I made my way to the kitchen where my second child Daisy was. She was ten and acted like a sixteen year old. She was busy texting away on her phone to whoever ten year olds texted, and not paying any attention to me, and Parker, Julio's daughter who is also ten was actually drawing like a normal ten year old should be doing. My five year old twin girls were in their play room quietly having fun now that Colton wasn't bothering them. I already knew Amelia and Bethany were going to be alot of trouble. They were only five and had already tried to pull the identical twin switch trick on their teachers. My little family with my high school bully. Who would've thought? My horribly mean adopted older twin brothers sitting in my house and us all getting along. I guess adulthood changes you, well not Romeo who was still a playboy, but Julio who had grown up since his fiancée gave birth to Amelio and then Parker. Lila and Leo were somewhere in India, finalizing the papers for their second adopted child, Inkba. And they're sixteen year old Indian daughter was somewhere in California on a hippie type road trip her parents funded for her. Dorilee was going to be a wild child just like her mom. It had been a long thirteen years with these people, and even with all the bumps in the road I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world.
