"You're crazy. Absolutely mad. The only thing Christopher Rodgers has ever felt for me is hate. Why would I be his weakness of all people and of all things?" I exclaimed. Lila was insane, there was no way. "Rosie listen doll, I told you I could tell what people's weaknesses were. His is you. Trust me. If you saw the way he looked at you from an outsiders point of view you would see absolute lust. Curiosity. Wonder. I bet you're the only woman who's ever stood up to him, denied his advances. That intrigues him because your not easy. Do you follow?" She asked. "Well yeah, I know what your saying but trust me whatever look he gets looking at me is for sure not lust. I'm still the fat pig he used to bully in high school." "But that's exactly it! Your not fat anymore Rosie! Your this curvy, fit, beautiful woman that he sees. He sees and he wants it but he can't get it." Her eyes were wild, she was trying to get through to me I could tell. But it wasn't working. "Lila you will see. I'm not his weakness he just wants to use me. On the inside he is still saying rude things and taunting me, he just can't say it because it will lessen his chances of me building something for him." I explained. "But what if he doesn't recognize you?" She questions. "Of course he-" Wait. She could be on to something. She took my moment of silence to continue her explanation. "So he doesn't recognize you, you could use this as an advantage. Seduce him. String him along. Play him. Crush him. Make him fall for you then leave him high and dry. This is your revenge for those years in high school Rosie." I let her words soak in. There was no way this could work. Yes there is. Do it Rosie. Make him pay. My subconscious sneered. "How do we go about this?" I asked her. She smiled a devious smile. ..... It was exactly one week later and Lila and I were sitting at a swanky bar in Upper Manhattan. I had actually managed to get her dressed up. She was wearing a slinky black dress that hung around her ankles and black loubitons. Her wrists were adorned in silver bracelets and her rainbow colored hair was up in pretty curls. No amount of convincing could get her to dye her hair back to normal. It made me love her even more, even though she stood out against the blondes and the brunettes in the restraunt. She had dressed me, putting me in a tight white dress that flowed out at my thighs and bright red Manolos. My own blonde hair was down in waves caused by the French braid I had put in it early this morning. My lips were blood red and my blue eyes were lined with winged mascara and I had bold eyelashes. "You look ready to kill." Lila had told me when we walked out of my apartment earlier. "I am." I had smirked. Now we sat a table in the middle of the restraunt, waiting to be spotted by Christopher and his colleagues. He was supposed to meet here to have dinner and drinks with some friends of his, as Lila had stalked him and found out all this information. Our food arrived and we ate, making small talk as Lila watched behind me for the minute they walked in. "Spotted." She said, staring behind me. "They are going to the bar right now. They've sat down and the cute guy is ordering drinks. Very cute actually, he has a beard. I love beards. Oh he looks muscular." She trailed off. "Lila focus." I giggled. "Okay, all clear. Remeber walk up to the bar, ignore them, order a drink, make small talk with the bartender, sway your hips. Look cute. No problemo." "Got it. I'll be back." I said, getting up from my chair and turning around to walk to the bar. My hair swayed and swished with every movement of my hips. I tell you squats really pay off for instances like this. I walked to the bartender and ordered a tequila shot, asking him about his favorite drinks and other things related to being a bartender. Not even two minutes later I felt a presence and a hand on my back. I didn't even flinch, instead I held my gaze with the bartender as he talked. "Rose." He said into my ear. Still I did not move. His anger was apparent as he said my name again this time more harshly. "Rose." I turned to him, looking at him under my eyelashes holding the bored tone in my voice as I spoke. "Mr. Rodgers. Nice to see you here." I smiled sweetly. "What are you doing here dressed like this? You have a date?" He snapped. His eyes held the fiery glint I had come to know very well. "No actually, Lila and I were just having dinner. I came over here to grab a drink and Mike and I had a conversation." I looked over my shoulder back at him and smiled. "Well you should go sit back down. Now." "Daddy? Oh wait you aren't mine. So don't tell me what to do." I snapped, crossing my arms across my chest. "Don't throw the word Daddy around carelessly Rose, save that for when we're in the bedroom." He smirked. My mouth dropped open and he used it as an opportunity to put his fingers under my chin, grazing my jawline. "What do you think you're doing?" Lila said from behind me. Thank God she saved me, I was at a loss for words and I didn't even know why! This wasn't the plan! "Who are you again?" Christopher asked dismissively. "Lila Reynolds. And you are?" She said back, even though she very well knew. "Christopher Rodgers, not like you didn't know." He said, turning his attention back to me but I had swiped his fingers away and backed up. "Is this lady giving you trouble?" A deep voice from behind us said. It was the bearded guy Lila had called cute, his hand was placed on her lower back and he was looking down on her. "Yeah Leo, take her somewhere so I can talk to Ms. Marie here." Christopher waved her off. "No, get your hand off me. Don't think you can just remove me like I'm a pest. This is my best friend and he was bothering her. So you better back the hell off of me before I have to do something you won't like." She snapped, pushing him off of her. "Pretty sure anything you do, I'd like." Leo winked. Lila didn't find it funny because she grabbed his hand and twisted his arm behind his back and bent him over. He groaned in pain and she smiled. "You like that, Leo?" I saw his face contort in pain so I quickly pulled her off of him and back towards our table. "So that didn't go as smooth as we thought, but time for stage two?" I asked, putting a bite of cheesy pasta in my mouth. "Most definitely." Lila smiled.
