We sat in an awkward silence for a few seconds before he crossed the threshold of his living room and crushed his lips to mine with a deep rooted passion that caught me off guard.

I let out a small moan as his hands knotted in my hair and pulled, and his other hand found the rim of my panties. "Christopher." I mumbled against his lips, but he wasn't listening. I grabbed his wandering hand and pulled it up more, too embarrassed to look him in the eye.

"Christopher." I cleared my throat.

"Rose." He said back, his voice deep and husky.

"I think we should just- take things slow. I'm not used to doing stuff like this and you know, we do have a old unattended to problem." I said, speaking of the bullying that still made the fire within me burn.

"I could never take myself slow around you, baby." He muttered, his eyes darkening with desire.

"Can we just try?" I toyed with his tie, still not meeting his eyes, the guilt starting to show on my face from all the lies.

"Anything for you." He tipped my chin towards him and kissed me lightly, slowly, my knees weakening on their own accord.

"I should go." I said, breaking the kiss.

"I'll see you." He said, leading me towards the door.

Christopher's POV

That b***h thought she could play me for a fool?

I slammed the whiskey down on the counter in frustration. And to think, she was the only woman I'd ever pursued so heavily, the only one I'd ever almost cared about. But she was only after me for revenge.

Wouldn't you? Don't you remember how you treated her? The good in me spoke clearly and a tiny pang of guilt appeared in my gut, but I shook it off.

"She thought she would make me fall in love?" I laughed dryly. "Christopher Rodgers. Love? She must not know who I am." I said out loud.

I would do the exact same thing to her, I know her declaration wasn't real, it was all apart of my plan. I'll do exactly what she was planning to do to me, then make it ten times worse when I crush her heart. She will be even more hurt than high school.

She shouldn't have made it so obvious she was a virgin, this is going to be even better taking her virginity then leaving her high and dry with a few choice words to cover my absence.
