Roman's POV,

After finishing my bike race I came back to my office, where Anna was already sitting in my cabin so I came towards her and said-" Hey, When did you come?"

I am here about an hour, you tell me, I got a call from your friend that you had an accident. As soon as she said this I started laughing and said-" If this is true then I am standing in front of you, look at my body! Do you find any injury on my body?"

No, but when he said I got scared that's why I came here to know about you. Before I replied to her my phone rang.

"Roman, come to home quickly! " As soon as I picked up the call Mom said to me while being flurry. But what happened please tell me. I asked.

'I will tell you everything but before that, you have to come, so come fast.'

After saying this she cut the call and I left for my house.

After Reaching my home entered where Mom was fighting with my dad. So I started trying to solve their quarrel. But suddenly my eyes fell on a girl who was standing right there but before today I had never seen her here.

I was just going to ask her when Dad said-" Roman come to my cabin, I want to talk to you and you also come."

After saying this to me he left the place angrily and immediately after he left I went to Mom and asked, "What is going on here? Why you both are fighting together?"

Your dad will tell you everything, come with me. I didn't understand what was happening in my house so quietly I came to my dad's cabin. Now, please tell me what is going on. And who's that girl? After coming to the cabin I asked my father.

"She is your would-be wife." As soon as Dad said that I was shocked but before I said anything my mom said-" I still didn't get it! What the hell was that? You can't force my son to marry. And you should've conferred with me before announcing this decision. I'm his mother."

"If I'd asked you, would you approve?" After listening to my mom he asked.

'Do you expect me to approve such a stupid decision? Roman is not a five-year-old, and we are not buying him a toy here. It's marriage, we're talking about! We can't interfere with his decision.'

"We have seen his previous decisions. Trust me, Josefa! it's about time our son grows up! " Before they'd started fighting again I asked him-" What do you mean by its time about for me to grow up?" I'm already grown up Dad, and I want to clear you one thing, I will not marry that girl. Especially not with someone I don't know or love! I just want to live my life freely and I will!! I am not getting married.

As soon as I said this he shouted at me and said angrily-" You either get married or get the hell out of my house. You've lived free enough in this house. Time to assume responsibility now and if you can't then get out of my house."

As soon as he said this I was shocked because how could he do this to me? His words were making me furious so I replied to him-" You think you always know best and make the right decisions. But not this time, Dad. No! You are making a mistake. At this rate, you're gonna lose us all one day."

After listening to my dad I thought that at this time I had to talk to that girl, maybe I could convince her not to marry me, so I left and came straight to her room.

After coming into her room I opened the door with a bang. She was sitting quietly on the bed. "Can we talk" After coming close to her I asked.

" Yeah, sure! "She replied. After that, we came into the garden where I made her sit on the couch and said-" Look! I don't want to get married and I'm guessing neither do you."

You know nothing about me and I know nothing about you. If we confront my dad and tell him that we don't want to get married, maybe we can talk him out of his decision. All we need to do right now is to tell him that we don't want this marriage.

I was continuously saying but she didn't reply to me then I said-" Please say something! I see, you're afraid of my dad. Fine, I will do the talking and tell him our decision. I just need you to be there. You don't have to say a word. Just show him you and I are on the same page. Come on! let's get it over with.

Saying this, I held her hand and was about to leave when she said-" No! I can't come with you. " So I asked-" What do you mean by that you can't come with me? It means you want to marry me.

I continuously asked her But still, she was quietly standing there. Can't believe you! How could you possibly want to marry someone you don't know? Give me one good reason to marry me.

Her silence was making me crazy but she was not even saying anything. So I said loudly-" Why don't you say anything? I said I don't want you. And you still want to marry me? You have no pride! "

As soon as I said this she replied-" You just said you know nothing about me. And now you are telling me I have no pride! How can you say that about someone you don't know?"

It's pretty obvious! You are about to marry a man you don't know! Isn't that enough? Wait.... My dad forced you into this? Did he threaten you or something?

You can't possibly want to marry me. You can tell me, My dad forced you into this? Did he pressure you?

I was continuously asking her but she didn't reply to me so I held her hand tightly and said-" Now, I want you to go and tell my dad you don't want to marry me, get it.

" You're hurting me, please leave my hand." As soon as she said this I left her hand and said-" Now I got it! You want to marry me because of money, right? Of course, it's quite a windfall for you! You're gonna live a wealthy life in this safe and luxurious place.

I know what you're after. So how much he'll pay you? What's your price? I can also pay you that money! You know, I can pay you even more. As soon as I said this she slapped me and said-" How could you talk to me like this? Just get out of my room,"

I was very angry with her for this act but I quietly came out of the room without saying anything. After all, what is so special in this girl that Dad agreed to throw me out of his house?

After saying this to him I came out of his cabin and walked only a few steps when Mom held my hand and brought me into her room and said-" Have you gone mad? What you were talking to your dad about? How can you agree to marry that uncivilized girl? "

Without taking a pause she was asking me questions one after another so I said while putting my hands on her shoulder-

"Just calm down Mom! You know about Dad very well! If he has decided that he will get me married to Layla, it means he will get it done. And if I refuse, he will evict me from this house and his property, but I don't want that."

And I know very well how to get rid of Layla. After marriage, I will make her life hell. I will make her life worse than hell and after that, I will see how she will spend her life with me.
