His Vampire. Her Werewolf.

Chapter 3

When they got to the town limit, Raine pulled off and parked the car. He got out and Symphony followed.  He stood leaned up against the car and was contemplating on what to say. He didn't know how to ask her what she was and also didn't know how to tell her she was his mate.  Symphony just stood infront of him looking at her fingers and wouldn't look him in the eyes. She was thinking the same thing he was.  They stood in silence for what seemed like forever and the Raine spoke.

    "Ok, out with it what are you? I know you aren't human but what are? Raine asked bluntly. Symphony stared shaking she was terrified on the answer she had to give him, would her try to kill her or would he run away.  She spoke softly " I am a vampire if you must know, I know you are a were wolf so you are also not human." She took a deep breath and looked at him before she continued. " When I was 16 Mick took me to a party, we were dating at that time and I thought he loved me, it was a party full of frat boys and their little playthings. Mick ended up leaving me there and I decided to walk home, not a smart idea I know.  I ended up getting lost when a nice old man stopped and asked if I wanted a ride into town.  We had been driving awhile and ended up in an abandoned building. He bit me and the next thing I remember is laying outside my house  not knowing how I got there and was craving blood. The rest as they say is history. That's my story and what I am" Symphony finished and looked at Raine, he was conflicted as to what to say. He knew she was an enemy but also his mate. He stood there staring at her until she broke his trance "So Raine what's your story? I know you are a werewolf but that is all I knw" Raine took a breath and just looked at her for a minute thinking on how to answer her "Well you know what I am and so you must know that werewolves have along history, Ill get into that another time.  I am the Alpha of the Red Diamond Pack that are in the area. We are one of the strongest packs in the world, totaling about 1000 wolves in this area alone. My Beta Steven who is my second in command is the second strongest wolf in our pack after me.  I became Alpha at 15 when a nest of Vampires killed my father and from the sounds of it you were attacked by the same nest.  I know you were not part of the attack because that was a year before you got turned. Lastly you are my Mate so I am torn between killing you for being a vampire and protecting you because you are my Mate and Luna of the Red Diamond Pack." Raine finished speaking and looked at Symphony.  She was trying to take in the information she was just given. "Alpha, Red Diamond Pack, MATE" these words bounced around in her head like ping pong balls.  She was silent for several minutes trying to figure out what to say next.

    Symphony started to walk away from Raine as she had no idea what to say to him. As she turned she heard a low growl coming from behind her.  When she turned she was in awe.  Where Raine had stood now stood the biggest and most beautiful wolf she had ever seen.  He was black as night with piercing blue eye, he stood maybe 10 feet tall if not more.  He slowly made his way to her and lay at her feet.  She slowly moved into to touch him when she stopped and screamed.  Raine was content in showing her his wolf Jax and was he was waiting for her to touch him when he caught scent of Steven.  What the hell is he doing here Raine thought.  He then heard Symphony scream and he was on high alert.  As he stood there was another wolf that he knew all to well, Viper, Stevens wolf.  

    Jax stood infront of Symphony teeth bared at Viper.  He was trying to mind link with him but for some reason it wasn't working.  Viper came closer growling and looking like he wanted to kill Symphony. Yes, she's a vampire and a sworn enemy but she's also my mate and Luna of this pack I have to protect her at all cost Raine and Jax thought together.  Finally Jax was able to get through to Viper./Shift Now/ /But alpha she a vampire// Shift and we will talk you are scaring her/.  Both Jax and Viper shifted and there stood Raine and someone Symphony did not recognize.  "What the hell Steven?" Raine asked and he was pissed "She is a vampire why are you protecting her?" Steven asked kind of annoyed while shooting Symphony a dirty look. "She is my mate and your future Luna show some respect" with those words Steven looked shocked.  Raine explained everything and told him not to tell the rest of the pack yet as he wanted to wait until Symphony was ready and he had to figure out away for them to not kill her on sight like Steven had wanted to.  He had ordered Steven to leave and if he said one word to anyone he would kill him on the spot.

    Symphony just stood there taking everything in that had just happened.  Not only did she just find out that she was Raines mate but also Luna of a pack of wolves that all would want to kill her the minute they realized what she was.  She took off her heels and started running toward home. She could here Raine calling after her but she didn't care she needed to be alone. To much had happened that day and she just need time to process it all.  She was almost to her house when she stopped dead in her tracks. There at the end of her road was the man that changed her life for the worst. The man that turned her into a vampire and left her to fend for herself.  She didn't know his name but knew he was trouble.

    The man turned as he heard her stop. He smiled and in an instant he was standing in front of her. "My greatest creation has finally returned" he said with a grin and then vanished into thin air leaving Symphony terrified.
