“Aina, goodness! Thank God that you’re safe,” Irene couldn’t help but exclaim, massaging her forehead as if it would release the frustration. “Do you know how worried we were when we realized you were not with us?”
“I’m sorry. I just… had a hard time finding our meeting location,” Aina repeated her apology, her tone still laced with sincerity.
