Upon hearing those words, Selene wasn’t able to answer immediately. Her mouth opened and closed, finding the right words to say, but couldn’t.
“I…” she trailed off, trying to create a valid excuse.
However, her mind remained blank.
It was a memory she didn’t want to go back to. Yes, she is an archaeologist. Her passion is to study artifacts deeply, go to different places, and discover new things and details people usually overlook.
