Outside the bunker, Raven and Selene had completed their inspection and were heading back toward the bunker’s entrance.
“This is great,” Raven remarked, patting one of the reinforced walls. “I think this could really hold up. Maybe not against everything, but long enough to escape if needed.”
Selene smirked, wiping sweat from her forehead.
“Nice. Then maybe we can finally take that break.”
Raven raised an eyebrow as the side of her lips rose. “You're really excited about that waterfall trip, huh?”
Selene didn’t answer immediately. Instead, she picked up some trash and placed it on the other side.
“We’ve been pushing ourselves to the limit every day,” she said, standing up straight. “A dip in the water might remind us that we’re still human.”
