“You sure did,” Raven answered with a chuckle, but the irritation was still evident on her face. “But I understand what you’re feeling, though. I know that all of you were wondering why I hid this fact from you.”
“Yes.” Aina nodded. “Yet, you kept on telling us that you stayed here longer.”
“Because I did.”
Those words caught everyone’s attention, and now, they were waiting for Raven to explain further.
“What I told you earlier isn’t a lie,” she started, looking everyone in the eye. “I stayed here longer than all of you. I went here for my job and returned to my country.”
“And on Cruise Ship X08, I was assigned to interview with Amira Fontaine,” Raven added. “It was supposed to be an exclusive one. But I couldn’t bring the documentation of our interview to the company.”
