The King and the Wife

3rd person POV

"You truly are a beauty, Aya. Perfect to become my queen."

He's here! How come I didn't notice him!, Aya shouted in her mind, startled by the presence of his soon-to-be husband. "Greetings, great king. It is my honor praised by our king. Pardon me for not being prepared to face you properly. But I congratulate you for becoming the true king, Kalem." She ended with a warm smile on her lips.

"Cut the formalities, Aya. We will get married soon and we know each other for a long time. I don't mind if it is you who rudely talk to me." Kalem(Dumakalem) responds.

"If I really can then I would love to, hmp! What would you expect, you are a king now so who am I to disrespect such an important person." She spats while rolling her eyes at him.

"Hahahaha! You just did!". He stares on his fiancé with loving eyes and genuine smile for a few seconds before gently hugging her. "I miss you, Aya. We didn't see each other for months. I was sad."

"Well hush now my king, you're here hugging me. Don't be a cry baby *chuckles*".

He immediately broke his embrace and look at her with teary eyes. "You don't miss me?"

"I don't know if I'll be glad that I am the only one who knows their great king is a CRYBABY. Of course I missed you Kalem so hush now you look like a duck, hahaha!"

"Well you should be glad that I act like this in front of you. I don't know myself. You should rejoice!".

"Rejoice your ass, ooops! Sorry not sorry! hahahaha! Well how long will you stay here outside? Greet my parents and let's have some food I cooked."

Aya dragged the king inside their castle. (Kalem is still in his God form but Aya is not hurt or affected by it. The whites are the only one who can endure or inflict the power of the king but not to the point that they can overpower the great king.)

"It is such an honor to finally meet the great king! Welcome! Treat this place as your own, Kalem." The Alpha, greeted.

"It is my pleasure, great Alpha of Luna, Sier Lucidus." They bow to each other after the greetings.

"I can't believe it...it is truly you, Kalem. You grown such a mighty king. Please to meet our new king.", said by the most beautiful queen of Luna who suddenly appeared when she heard the king arrived.

Kalem immediately kneel down in front of her, held her right hand and placed a gentle kiss to show respect for the Luna of this kingdom.

"Pardon my sudden intrusion, Luna."

"No need for that, our King. As what as Lucidus said, treat this place as your own. You are our King now. This place is also yours. Now, let's end this formalities and eat lunch. I'm hungry just so you know. My dear Aya, are you done preparing?".

"Yes, mother. You three talk so long and I am bored listening to all of you." the Luna raised her right eyebrow to Aya making her silent for her bad mouth. She rush inside in the dining to make her scape.

"Our king, beware of ladies. You know what I mean *chuckles*", the Alpha whispered and the King just laugh on it.

Their lunch went good, they talk many things for the wedding and other concerns for the two kingdoms.

This norm, the Luna being the bride of the King was passed down by the ancestors of both kingdom. Some myths told that Solana, the wife of the first Dumakalem, gave a gift to the whites or rather say she bestowed them a unique power making them the whites now. In return, they pledge their Luna to be the wife of the king.

The time flies so fast that even Aya feels like she was still dreaming. It feels like the visit of the king was a while ago. But here they are, in front of the altar church inside Kalem's kingdom where there wedding is being held right now.

"Aya...I felt like I was still dreaming but, yeah here we are....you are here (holds her hands), dressed in white (mesmerized and stared intently)....so beautiful...ready to become my wife....ready to become my queen....ready to become OUR QUEEN."

Aya blushes and turned her face away from the king. They know each other since they were kids but when they are this intimate to each other, she is still embarased. The king chuckled to her cuteness, lift her chin up to make her face him again.

"Aya...i love you...will you be my queen? ( stares in her eyes with full of love and scincerity)"

"Yes! I do!", she responded with teary eyes.

"Uhm...well, I may now pronounce you a husband and wife, the KIng and Queen of our kingdom! Hail to our King and Queen!" The priest immediately said to shorten their ceremony because of his excitement and feeling happy that their king has sealed his love to the girl who caught his heart.

"Hail to our King and Queen!"-lead by Eta and their people seconded happilly.

"Hail to our King Dumakalem! Hail to our Queen Aya!", the people cheered to the newly wed while they are on there way out of the church.

When they reach the door and ready to ride the carriage and about to enter, suddenly the sun above them shines so bright that all of them can't see what is happening.

A strange light coming from the sun rapidly strike down directly to the king. "Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

"K-kalem! What happened to you?! Where are you?!", The queen ask him while in panic due to not able to see anything because of the strange light making it hard to open your eyes.

"AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!", the king shouted continuesly. He feels like his whole body is burning by that strange light, even though he has the power of the sun fire he can't bear this strange hotness struck to him.

The burning feeling of the King lasted for almost fifteen minutes and after that his body collapse on the ground.

"Kalem!!!", The queen was the first one to recover from what happened and rushed to attend the king. "Eta!!!, Help me bring the King to the carraige and let's head to the castle! Now!"

Eta did not intended to show no respect to the queen for not responding to her. He was nervous and can't even talk. This is the first this happened to the king. He immediately acted to the queen's order. When they arrived to the castle they bring the King to his quarter.

"Call the best healer of this kingdom Eta! Now!"

Eta teleported upon her order and grab the one who is wearing a blue robe (means highest rank of the kingdomsl's healers). He teleported back as the healer speaks for himself, angry to Eta why he was suddenly dragged but stop his mouth when his gaze darted to the king who is unconsciously lying in his bed. He gasped to his surprised and rushed to attend to the king.

He raised both of his hands above the kings chest to start checking his whole body using his magic healing ability. His sweat suddenly traveled down to his face when found out nothing's wrong to the king's body.

"What could have caused this to our king? (sighs)".

"What?! Why are you suddenly saying that? Aren't you the one who tell us what happened to our King??!", Aya almost shouted at him. Her worries is killing.

"I apologized, my queen. I already did cast my best skill at healing but I can't find any sickness or abnormalities to our king's body. He is totally fine. He does not have any injuries, my queen."

She just sighs to calm herself. "(Sighs), Leave us alone. I will take care of our king and let him rest. You may now leave."

"Que--", she cuts off Eta from speaking. "Eta, you should fix the commotion outside and make it disappear. We don't want issues about the king right? I, the queen of this kingdom orders you on behalf of the king. Dismissed."

"My apology, my queen. I shall now leave to fullfil your desire by the name of the knights(bows and disappeared in a thin air)".

On that night.......

"Hebias!!!! The queen!! Come with me emmidiately!"

Eta and Hebias, the healer, rush to the kings quarter where they found that their queen's body was unconsciously lying down on the floor just right after the king's bed.
