San Lu threw his coat and came to the bed with a warm smile. He sat at the edge of the bed and placed his head on her lap then closed his eyes with a sigh. Mona Daly was leaning back on the bed while closing her eyes and she could not hear his footsteps. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him with a slight smile. It was late and he must be tired. “Aren’t you hungry?” “I am.” “Then go and get fresh. I will ask the housekeeper to warm the meal.” “I have already asked her while coming here.” Mona Daly kept caressing his head and letting him sleep with his head on her lap. “Are you thinking something?” She asked after a while. San Lu raised his head and looked at her with surprise. How could she know? “I am thinking when I will see my baby’s face. I am dying to hold it in my arms.
