I felt terrible about how I made the whole troupe miss a show. I made up for it by performing my best in the next two.
The first time I danced a whole show, I felt sick. I was still able to meet with Radu and could have made myself strong with his amulet. Yet, I knew I could be greedy. I could keep on taking from it to spend more time on land. I had also realized that Fiorea was in love with the sea god. She just could not admit it to herself yet.
But what did I know about love?
Love could be all about the longing. It could be about peering at the audience, searching for someone's face. It might be about defying all sense of logic by wanting the person who hurt you badly to find proof that it was all a misunderstanding.
That misunderstanding had me almost screaming in a
