Sole ‘You’re not coming home with me?’ I asked the moment a cab parked in front of us and she moved towards it. ‘No. I need to meet the insurer today itself.’ She’d told me before we boarded the flight back home that Cathy had called and told her that the insurer wanted to meet them today to evaluate the store’s damages and come to a final amount to be reimbursed. ‘When will you be back?’ I asked. ‘I don’t know but it could take some time so don’t wait up for me.’ She said and I became sad immediately.
