‘I thought we were going home?’ Ricci said when I asked him to stop at the lawyer’s office. ‘There’s something I need you do.’ I told him and explained further what he needed to do exactly. He went ahead to meet the lawyer and I drove home. She was not in the living room which meant she was hiding in her bedroom. And my assumption was correct for when I entered her room she was startled. ‘Where are your manners? Didn’t someone tell you not to enter somebody’s room without permission?’ Amanda said loudly. ‘As far as I remember, this is my house and you’re boarding here against my permission.’ ‘This is your father’s house!’ ‘No it’s not.
