Chapter Thirty-two
‘Luna, wait! I’m not Sole’s girlfriend.’ When I stopped she continued, ‘I never was.’ She could be lying, I told myself. Maybe this dinner was Sole’s plan to cover up his past actions. ‘She is right. This is Luisa.’ Sole introduced her as if I’d ask him to. My dinner was going great until two uninvited guests interrupted it. One of them I knew was Sole’s secretary so he obviously wasn’t the one bothering me.
