I woke up with a terrible headache, but that's just the beginning. The frigid cold made me look around, only to be met with complete darkness as I found myself lying on a hard, icy floor.
I struggled to see through the darkness, but found it impossible.
What the hell is going on, where am I? I panicked, but at that moment, I heard a calm voice, "Hi, Olivia, it's me, Maia. I may not know where we are, but don't worry. I'll take care of us both."
I instantly knew that the voice was my wolf's.
