Kelsie's POV
"They need help. They are asking for help..." Jinky repeated.
Her gaze dropped to the ground and her hands started shaking. On the other hand, my heart felt like it dropped.
I mentally shake my head.
Kelsie, focus…
I shut my eyes tightly to calm myself and let out a harsh sigh. Afterward, I opened my eyes and quickly reach for her hand. I firmly held her and gently caress her hands. She lift her head and looked at me with a worried expression. She gulped.
I know that at that moment, she isn’t thinking right.
“Jinky… don’t panic. This is not the right time,” I said.
We couldn’t afford to not think properly right now.
We hear another crying howl of the wolf from the left side of our location. It was then followed by a group of howling wolves.
I bite my lower lip.
