Midnight – Indrapolis Financial District
A sleek black van is parked in a deserted alley, its engine humming softly. Inside, Ethan Pandava types furiously on his laptop, his face illuminated by green lines of code.
“This is the biggest firewall I’ve ever seen,” Ethan mutters, cracking his knuckles. “Darian’s got an army of cybersecurity experts protecting his funds.”
Alex, seated beside him, watches the screen. “Can you break in?”
Ethan grins. “Already halfway there.”
Nathan, watching the monitors, frowns. “We have to be careful. If Darian realizes we’re inside his system—”
“He’ll come after us,” Leo finishes. He loads his pistol. “Let him.”
Drake Vyas stands near the door, checking his watch. “Five minutes. That’s all we have before the bank’s security systems catch on.”
Ethan’s fingers fly over the keyboard. Bank accounts, offshore holdings, secret investments—all of Darian’s hidden wealth is right in front of them.
“We’re in,” Ethan says.
Alex leans forward. “Drain his accounts. Every last cent.”
Ethan smirks. “With pleasure.”
At Kaurava Group Headquarters
Inside the penthouse office, Darian Kaurava leans back in his leather chair, sipping his whiskey.
A sudden alarm blares from his computer screen. Unauthorized access detected.
Darian’s calm expression hardens. He immediately calls Sebastian.
“We’re being hacked.”
Sebastian, half-asleep, groans. “Who the hell would be stupid enough to—”
His phone vibrates with a notification. He checks it, and his eyes widen.
$500 million—gone.
$750 million—gone.
$1.2 billion—vanished.
“s**t,” Sebastian whispers. “They’re stealing everything.”
Darian slams his glass on the table, shattering it.
“Alex.”
Back at the Van
Ethan grins. “Almost done. Just a few more seconds and—”
Suddenly, the laptop screen flickers. The firewall locks back into place.
“No, no, no!” Ethan shouts. “They’re onto us!”
Before Alex can respond, the entire van shakes violently. Tires screech outside. A convoy of black SUVs screeches to a halt in the alley.
Nathan looks at the monitors. “Darian’s men. We’ve been found.”
Leo c***s his g*n. “Then let’s give them a welcome party.”
Outside, armed Kaurava enforcers pour out of the SUVs. Red laser sights dance across the van’s windows.
Darian’s voice echoes through a megaphone.
“Step out, Alex. You’ve stolen from the king. Now it’s time to pay.”
Alex grits his teeth, his hand tightening into a fist.
“We fight.”
The first battle between the Pandavas and the Kauravas is about to begin.
To be continued…
