Chapter five: Escape under the red moon

'Lucien struggled as he sat on the floor, feeling so tired and weak.
Fofana saw him where he was sitting down as he went to meet him.
Stand up, they are after us.
I am weak and tired.
You can't die here, she is not going to be happy.

Lucien took a deep breath, as he looked at the moon and smiled.

The forest started catching fire, as Lucien cried.

'Let's move Lucien before he finds us.
Both of them move to where Sasha was resting.
Seeing him, she ran to hug him.
He shifts her away with pains in his body.
He is tired and weak; don't put more force on him.
'Are you alright?' Sasha asked Lucien as she held his hands.
'I'm fine, don't worry.'
'Let go before they see us.'
As they were about to go, they were attacked by four supernatural armies, four vampires.
'Going nowhere, Lucien. I don't know why you want to sacrifice your life just to save a girl,' one of the vampires said.
'I don't know why you always listen to Adrian without any question,' Lucien replied.
The four vampires change at once as they attack them.
Lucien protects Sasha as one of the vampire attacks. Lucien uses his speed and power to hold the vampire at his throat, throwing him away. Without the vampire standing up, he attacks again with full speed and strength, raising him up as he bites his side of the neck, then throws him on the ground.
Fofana attacked both of the vampires with speed and strength. Both of them pushed him, but he was faster and stronger than them. As the first vampire wanted to hit him, he used the other vampire to block the attack.
The vampire attacked again. This time, Fofana jumped at his head as the vampire was about to look the other way. Wesley cut his head off with his hands. As the other vampire stood up to avenge the death, Fofana held his head as he cracked it. The vampire fell down and died.
Remaining, the last vampire looked at the dead bodies on the ground.
"You will regret this," he said as he screamed with the top of his voice.
Immediately, Lucien rushed at him as he shook his hand inside his heart and brought out his heart.
"Let's move, they are after us."
They began to run.
Adrian heard the noise and smiled.
"You can run, but you can't hide. I have destroyed your empire, and now I am about to destroy you," Adrian shouted with the top of his voice.
His voice echoed in the forest.
Don't let them escape this time around,' the shout is from that direction.
They spread throughout the area, walking in groups.
Adrian walks slowly towards a tree as he scents blood on the ground.
'I'm on the right spot, track this blood,' Adrian told one of his witches.
The witch cast a spell as the blood became visible.
Adrian followed the blood mark carefully.
The witch who was supposed to do the Lucien ritual was held captive, as she was chained in both her hands, while they dragged her together.
Lucien, Fofana, and Sasha ran very fast, but the army was everywhere.
'They are going to kill us if Sasha asks,'
'We are going to survive. We always have,' Lucien replied to her.
Just then, a group of soldiers was at their front.
They hid under the hill without making a single noise.
'Will they see us?'
'We are going to survive. They will not see us, but I don't know a word—they can hear what you are saying.'
Sasha nodded her head as fear gripped her body.
As they stood up on their feet, they were surprised; they were surrounded by a large army of supernatural well-being.
We are doomed, Fofana said.
I don't think we can escape them; they are many.
All the supernatural army surrounded them, looking at their faces, ready to devour them.
Then Adrian walked through the middle of the army while two of the army dragged the witch on her shoulders.
Adrian smiled happily as he looked at his son, whose love has taken control of.
I have destroyed your kingdom, I have killed your hybrids, now I am going to kill your witch.
Why don't you kill me instead of killing everything I love?
Because I want to see you break down; I want you to know that love is a weakness, not a strength.
No matter what you do to me, you can't break me.
I am not breaking you, I am fixing you.
You destroyed everything I love and cherish; why don't you kill me?

Adrian laughs hard as he holds the hair of the witch.
Now no time for a long question,you can't escape this time around, give me the girl and I will let you go.
The witch looked at his eyes and nodded her head saying no.
Then she said some magic spell , and everywhere was covered with smoke.
When the other witch stopped the smoke they were all gone.
