The Hospital

Then we would talk everyday from then on, he would be eager to see me and it went on for a while

One night Fredrick the guy who was always at the driver’s seat and that other guy from the food day was also there

They had me escort them to go drop the guy on his street, we came back got food and that night while we were waiting to get the food,he said “ don’t fall in love with me”! I found it strange cause he was my friend who I had just met, Why would I fall inlove with him when I was “in love” with someone already so I smiled and I told him the same thing he smirked and we said our goodbyes that night and he called later we spoke until it was very late. This routine went on and on for sometime .

One night he asked me to come outside my gate I did and he said i should walk down my street I thought he was there, turns out he was making me come to his place he gave directions and I got there we sat down in the car to talk about nothing but everything at the same time and he’d make me come out every night then on to talk. Most times he claims he doesn’t feel good and I’d go or he’d say silly things like he can’t breath, funny.

One afternoon I decided to go weave my hair and I went to a salon on the street, they had just finished washing my hair when I got a call from him asking where I was and they told him “ I’m on the street making my hair by the junction he said he was there too and he told me to give directions, I did and he

Stopped in front of the shops and had me join them to go get “something”. I was putting on a dress, a long dress. Fred was driving and we went to the store,he bought me kopiko, cookies and water bubbles it was so sweet. I spoke about perfumes because they all complimented my scent and I felt good so at the store he asked that I picked him a scent and I helped him pick out a perfume. “What’s your budget?” I sent him a text message just so I don’t go beyond his pockets. The perfume I was going for was quite pricey. “lol, just pick anything and do not worry about the prices” he sent back and okay ! I picked up the scent for him, it was oud and it smelt good and strong. They made payments but he had gone to the car before us cause he was feeling weak so we left the store he was all touchy and I didn’t like it so I snapped and he got pissed and was wearing this attitude

They dropped me at the shop and I left everything he got me in the car and they left. Hours later he texted to ask why I dropped it

I talked about the attitude and he apologized asking to see me when I get done with the hair. After I was done I went home dropped my stuff and headed to his place. After I got there, I met Fred, we greeted he said “you different, you look good” I told him thanks and Liam and I..we sat in the car,as always to talk

“ here’s your cookie and kopiko” he said

He apologized for his outburst and he turned on the lights in the car to look at my hair,then my face and then my lips and he was gonna move closer to kiss me then I talked “hey, what are you doing?” Whatever happened to “don’t fall in love with me?!” I said In my head and I also said it out loud. He said it doesn’t matter and “ it would be different if you weren’t beautiful,but you are!”, “ you’re not ugly” and he said “ can you just hug me?” and I refused because I don’t like contacts with guys who aren’t my man, I didn’t mention? I was seeing someone at the time and we was serious or so I thought. I explained he appeared all emotional and was on his phone for a bit, he told me he was coming and he went inside for what felt like forever and when he came out it was with his friends 2 of them Sabstian and Fred.he wasn’t telling lies his anxiety attacks kicked in and his blood pressure was going off, he needed to get to the hospital, FAST!.

So we all jumped in the car, all four of us and we headed to the hospital…it was the state hospital we were in there at the ER waiting to be attended to by a doctor,he was nervous. It took a while but eventually he was attended to and he was on the hospital bed resting and I was beside him and we was talking then she walked in with Fred.

She had completely disregarded my presence and went straight to him even though I was sitting right beside him. They got talking and I was feeling so uncomfortable with the way I was getting treated, I went to sit in another side of the room and eventually I left the room and I went to sit outside the ER and the mosquitoes there were no jokes,I was there for sometime before Fred came and he asked what was wrong I told him I wasn’t comfortable with the way the girl was acting towards me and I just needed to leave the room. He laughed and pulled me up and we went back to his bed……. He probably sent Liam a message because Liam immediately asked if I would go home, and as the girl that I was, I said yes and I asked for Fred to take me home and I told him my goodbyes. “ Are you going home? Micheal asked and I answered “ Yes I am” okay bye and Fred was going to drop me home and pick somethings from the house. “I don’t like that you’re leaving” he sent me a text just when we was about leaving the hospital, well I was pissed you had disregarded my presence just because someone else was there and you’re saying you don’t like that I was gone ?? At the time when he sent the message we were just about to pass the hospital security post and I lied that we already went far then he said “ tell Fredrick to turn back” I said no and he went on about how he doesn’t feel good that I left and he wanted me there and I said I can’t stand the girl then he said “ Fredrick will go and drop her so can you just come back already” he said.

Sigh! I gave in, “ so I’m taking you back to the hospital, yeah? “ I nodded and he was questioning about myself, he’d laugh when I speak and he said “ what’s wrong with your eyes? Why do you cover them like that? I have sensitive body system and parts and my eyes? They would hurt me when I expose them to very bright light, and I even become blind for a while if it’s too much,sometimes my head will ache from it. I told him that my eyes are sensitive and they hurt and he said okay. He pulled out his phone and open his dial pad “ let me have your number, I’d call you when I’m on my way” he said and I dailed my phone number on his phone. Soon enough, we got to my house and I went inside to change my clothes , shower and brush my teeth, and Fred had already gone to their place to pick the things he intended

“Ring, Ring!! My phone went off, “ hello???” “Yeah I’m outside” okay I’d be right outside in a minute” I told him and I quickly finish up with what I was doing, I put on my hoodie and I went outside. The drive back to the hospital wasn’t as chatty and when we got to the gate he said “ Will you just sit over there ? He point at the hospital sit in the ER area “ I’d just go get her real quick and take her home” I said okay and sat facing the other side so she doesn’t see me as she leaves.

Minutes went by, I didn’t see anyone come get me so I went to the place by myself and there he was, already sleeping (I smiled softly) and I quietly sat down next to him, he opened his eyes and he found me next to him

“Hey! You came back!” He said excitedly wearing this sweet smile
