Nelson slowly got up to his feet as Olivia helped him to do so. He looked at her teary eyes and felt his heart ache even the more and knowing that he was the cause made him to mentally flog himself. He felt disgusted with himself for being the source of her pain.
Olivia shivered a little and thought of running away when she saw Nelson’s hand move towards her face once again, she didn’t want to have another taste of the pain.
But funny enough, she fought the idea and stood in place with her eyes shot tight. Something in her trusted and believed that Nelson would not hurt her physically for the second time. That wasn’t guaranteed either but who knows……she waited for the anticipated pain but that didn’t happen.
