After driving for a while, Trevor and I had finally arrived at the club. A huge, neon sign hung from the building, saying ‘Dance, Dance’. Trevor parked the jeep and we climbed out, then started to walk towards the building. There was a line up around the corner, but apparently, Trevor had connections, as we were allowed to go inside without having to wait, causing the crowd outside to throw a fit. As we entered, my eyes were blinded by strobe lights and my ears flooded with loud techno music. There were girls perched on swings that hung from the ceiling, glitter everywhere I looked and people dancing the night away.
I looked to Trevor “Should we get a drink first?” I yelled over the music.
“Hell Yes!” He said, as if it was obvious.
We walked over to the bar and ordered two beers. I gazed out at the crowd, memorized by the people dancing and laughing.
Trevor and I talked for few minutes, as we drank our beers. Then Trevor chugged back the rest of his and grabbed my arm “Come on, we need to go dance!”
He pulled me towards the dance floor, pushing our way through the crowd. I laughed at the way he danced and joined in with everyone, as glitter was thrown down around us.
Trevor and I were dancing, having the time of our lives, when I felt hands grip my hips lightly. I stilled and turned around, only to find a strange man, who was now grinding on me.
He wasn’t bad looking, with hazel eyes and shaggy brown hair. But he was not my type and I came here to have fun with my friend, not to hook up.
My brows pulled together “Umm, can I help you?” I asked in a snarky tone.
“Just want to dance with you baby” He smiled, flashing his pearly white teeth.
I pushed him away from me “Sorry, I’m not interested.”
Trevor peered over my shoulder “Yea, there sweet cheeks, she’s with me. So, get lost!” Trevor shooed him away.
The man huffed angrily and rolled his eyes, before reluctantly leaving. After dancing to a few more songs, I decided I need something drink, as my parched throat burned.
I tapped on Trevor’s shoulder “Hey, I’m going to go get a drink, do you want anything?” I shouted over the music.
He shook his head “No thanks babe.” Trevor smiled “Hurry back!”
I smiled and began to head towards the bar, when the same man from earlier stumbled into me.
I whipped my head to look at him, ready to spew out a few choice words, when I realized he didn’t look so good “Omg, are you okay?” He looked to be very intoxicated.
He rubbed his head “Ugh, sorry had a bit too much to drink.” His words came out slurred.
I pursed my lips “Yea, I can see that. Do you have someone who can take you home?” I asked him.
“Yea, my friend is waiting for me outside. I’m just having trouble getting out there.” He chuckled with embarrassment, as he rubbed the back of his neck.
I hesitated for a moment, but it seemed like he needed some assistance “Do you need some help?”
He batted his eyes “If you wouldn’t mind.” He attempted a smile.
I looked around for Trevor, so I could let him know that I was just helping this man outside, but I couldn’t see him anywhere. Hopefully, he wouldn’t freak out. I threw the man’s arm over my neck and began to guide him outside of the club.
I looked up at him “Where is your friend picking you up?” I asked him.
He pointed to his left “Just around the corner there, in the alley.” He quickly blurted out.
An alley? that is weird I thought, why not just out front here? “Ok, come on.” I really wished I had found Trevor, he could have helped me, I was also feeling a bit uncomfortable doing this now.
“Thank you so much, you’re so nice.” The man said, but he didn’t seem to slur his words this time.
We slowly made our way towards the alley and once we rounded the corner, stepping further into the alleyway, the dim streetlight revealed it to be empty. This is when the alarm bells began to go off and I started to feel very uneasy.
“Uh, looks like your friend isn’t here yet.” I looked to the man, who now had a malicious grin spreading across his face “That’s because he isn’t coming, it’s just you and me baby.”
He stood to his full height and straightened himself, revealing that he wasn’t intoxicated at all, that he was clearly acting just to get me alone. I just hoped Trevor would notice that I was gone for too long and come looking for me.
My heart began to race “My friend is waiting for me; I should head back inside.” I began to scurry away, trying to escape from the alley, but he gripped my elbow and threw me up against the cement wall. I groaned in pain, as my head collided with the hard surface.
“What’s your hurry? Don’t you want to have some real fun?” He grinned.
My lip trembled “No, thank you. Now, please let me go.” I attempted to say with authority, but my voice cracked and deceived me. I was beginning to panic and wished I had just stayed at the house, where I was safe.
He kissed my neck and collarbone roughly, then raised his head to my ear, softly whispering “Well, I do and you’re not going anywhere.” He bit my ear lobe roughly.
“Let me go, now!” I tried to shove him away from me, but he was too strong for me and the alcohol in my system had weakened me even more.
He grabbed my wrists and slammed them into the wall above my head. Fear and panic were now rising inside of me, as he continued to kiss my exposed skin.
I struggled and squirmed in his arms, but he just pressed his body tighter against mine. His free hand pulled the top of my dress down, exposing my breasts that were covered by only a thin bra. I whimpered realizing what was going to happen and the situation I had just gotten myself into.
He groped my right breast roughly, squeezing it as he kissed my chest. His hand then slid down my body, reaching for the hem of my dress. My breath hitched, as my heart began to pound out of my chest. I tried again to get out of his hold, attempting to lift my knee up and hit him right in his d**k, but he just spread my legs with his knees, placing himself between my thighs.
Tears began to pool in my eyes, as he lifted my dress up, slipping his hand underneath of the fabric and began to rub my core. My body began to shake, I felt sick to my stomach and I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs, but nothing would come out.
He then slipped a finger inside of me and I squeezed my eyes shut, hoping this was just a dream and I would wake up soon. My lip quivered and I felt disgusted with myself, as a minuscule amount of pleasure rocketed through my body at what my attacker was doing to me, what is wrong with me? Why is my body reacting this way?
I began to sob “Please, stop, don’t do this.” I begged.
He tightened his hold on my wrists “Shut up b***h and just enjoy the ride” He sneered.
He turned me around and harshly slammed my face into the wall, as he roughly pulled my underwear down.
“No, no, no, stop please.” I screamed out, trying once again to free myself.
He slammed my head against the wall “I said shut up.”
I began to feel dizzy and disoriented, as I heard him undo his belt and then his zipper. Oh, god, please don’t let this happen, I thought to myself.
Suddenly, a loud, terrifying growl ripped through the air and the man was torn away from me and I collapsed to the ground.
I curled up into a ball against the wall, clutching my knees to my chest and cradling myself. I heard screams and wails of pain, all around me, but I couldn’t bring myself to look.
“Omg, Amelia!” I heard someone shout. Looking up slightly, I saw Trevor rushing towards me. He took his shirt off and draped me in it, helping me off the ground.
He wrapped me in his arms, leading me down the alley “Come on doll.”
Trevor led me inside the club and into a back room. It seemed like a type of kitchen. Trevor lifted me up and onto the counter gently. He remained quiet, as he stood there looking me over, then went to retrieve a first aid kit. Just as he returned, I heard angry voices outside the room.
“Is it ok that we are in here?” I began to panic, I didn’t want anyone to see me like this, I didn’t want to answer questions.
The door flew open with a bang and there stood Damon. He was too large for the doorway and had to crouch down to cross the threshold.
His face radiated with anger and rage. He glared at Trevor “Get the f**k out.” He said with so much authority, it made me shiver with fear.
I looked to Trevor pleading with him not to go, but he just gave me a half smile and squeezed my arm for reassurance. He then left and Damon slammed the door behind him, leaving us alone.
He walked over to me and began to inspect my entire body, he grabbed Trevor’s shirt to remove it, but I clung onto it like it was a life force, not wanting to take it off. He c****d his head slightly and glared at me “Let go.” He demanded.
I closed my eyes and let go of the shirt, allowing him to remove it. Damon then opened the first aid kit and rummaged through it. He pulled out a few items and began to tend to my wounds.
After a moment of silence, Damon finally spoke “What the f**k were you thinking?”
I hissed as he put alcohol on my scraps “I just wanted to have some fun.” I admitted.
He raised a brow “And look where it got you.” He stated, shocking me with his words.
“Got me? You think I f*****g asked for this Damon?” How could he say that to me?
“No...bu.” I didn’t allow him to answer.
“There is no but, Damon. I didn’t ask for this, I just wanted to have some fun and relax for a bit. You have had me held up in that house for almost a month now, the only time I’ve had outside the house since the day I was taken there, was when you took me out of the dungeons and the day I tried to escape. I just wanted some time away.” Tears were now streaming down my face.
He ran his thumb across my cheek, wiping away the wayward tear “You shouldn’t have left, you were safe at the house, if I hadn’t of shown up when I did, he...”
He closed his eyes and gripped the counter, trying to calm himself “I can’t have anything happen to you Amelia, don’t you understand that?” He looked at me with love in his eyes.
I closed my eyes “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have left” I sobbed.
He pulled me into him, holding me against his chest “Shh, it’s ok.” He held me for a beat, then released me and walked over to the door “Where are you going?” I didn’t want him to let me go, I felt safe in his arms.
He didn’t answer me, just slightly opened the door and spoke with someone. After a moment, he closed the door again and had a blanket in his hands. He came back over to me and wrapped me in the blanket, then picked me up bridal style “We’re going home.” I snuggled into him, breathing in his scent, as he carried me out of the room.
We had finally arrived back at the house, Damon carried me inside and up the stairs, passing my room and heading for his room instead.
I looked up at him “Wait, why aren’t you taking me to my room?” I questioned.
“You’re sleeping in my room tonight.” He said, as if it were obvious. I didn’t argue with him because I honestly didn’t want to be alone tonight.
We entered the bedroom, and I was a bit taken aback. I had expected it to be different, but the room was clean, light, and airy, as his scent filled the air. He had a four-poster bed in the middle, with green sheets and a white blanket adorning it, a wooden nightstand, with a small lamp, occupied the space next to the bed. A large bookshelf, overflowing with books, was tucked along the far wall and a leather chair sat next to it. His room was so simple and had few items in it, it was very surprising.
Damon set me down on the bed “Would you like to have a shower?”
I nodded “Yes, but I need some clothes.” I needed clean clothes and I wanted more than anything to have the world’s hottest shower and scrub my body clean.
“I’ll get them, just go get into the shower, the bathroom is over there.” He pointed towards a door on my left.
I got up from the bed and walked over to the door, my eyes widened, and my jaw nearly dropped to the floor. It was one of the most beautiful bathrooms I had ever seen. The floor was white, the vanity a midnight blue, with a large soaker tub along one wall and a large walk-in shower, big enough for a dozen people and multiple shower heads.
I let the blanket drop to the floor and removed the clothing that was left on my body, throwing it straight into the trash, not wanting to ever see or let alone wear it again.
I turned on the shower and stepped in, perching myself against the wall and sank to the floor, allowing the water to cascade over me.
As I sat there, everything that had happened flooded my mind, I was almost r***d, again! This realization brought me to tears. I sobbed on the shower floor, tears mixing in with the water, that poured down my face. Damon was right, I shouldn’t have left, if I had of just stayed here, nothing would have happened.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and Damon barged in “Amelia?” He opened the shower door and found me sitting on the tile floor, sobbing. He slowly approached and knelt down on the floor “Are you ok?” He asked as he brushed my wet hair from my face.
I didn’t say anything, knowing my voice would crack. I just nodded and squeezed my eyes shut, refusing to let him see me cry. Damon didn’t say anything else, but climbed into the shower with me and wrapped me in his arms, holding me close to him, as he stroked my hair.
We stayed like that for a while, before Damon pulled back “Come on, you need to get cleaned up before you shrivel up into a prune.” He stood up and helped me off the floor. He helped to clean my body and then washed my hair.
After finishing, he wrapped me in a towel and hugged me tightly, kissing the top of my head “Here, I brought your clothes, get changed.”
He handed me my pajamas and left the room. I looked into the mirror and was disgusted at what I saw. Looking back, was someone who is now broken, someone who was too weak to fight off their attacker. I looked away and got dressed, then entered the bedroom. Damon was changed and laying in the bed, waiting for me. He lifted the blankets and padded the bed, motioning for me to get in and I did. He pulled me close to him, wrapping me in his muscular, soft arms, lulling me to sleep.
