Chapter 23
Austin's POV *Present Day* After what feels like hours, but is really only about 30 minutes, the rest of the officers show up and a perimeter is set up around Sarah's car. They all get right to work, dusting for fingerprints and setting out cones where they see shoe prints or tire tracks in the dirt. Eventually an employee comes out and lets officer Sanchez know that the camera footage has been pulled and is ready for review. It takes a little convincing, but he finally agrees and let's John and I go with him to watch the video. We all agree that Melissa and Abby need to stay back in case there is something horrific in the video, not that I want to see that either, but I need to know who has Sarah.
