His resentment towards Ciel, the favored child of their father,the Don, had festered into a venomous desire for power.
The board members, sensing an opportunity to seize control, had manipulated Leone into becoming their puppet. They promised him the reins of the family's power, a promise that would only be fulfilled if Ciel was ousted.
The merger with the powerful Vasiliev family, a strategic move orchestrated by Ciel, posed a direct threat to their plans. By sabotaging the fashion show and tarnishing the family’s reputation, they aimed to derail the merger and solidify their control over the matters partaining the company's dealings.

Determined to expose the truth and protect her father's legacy, Ciel turned to an unlikely ally: the Vasiliev family moreso Fyodor Vasiliev, the current head of the Vasiliev. Despite the initial setback, the Vasiliev's remained committed to the merger.
