CHAPTER 7

Jin went down after his call.

“Did you cook, Mikaella? Jin asked.

“Yes, since I was five years old, I helped Anne to prepare food. “I’m curious how they’re doing now.”

“Do you miss them?”

“Yes! “I like them all.”

“You’re very sweet and innocent, Mikaella. I want to kidnap you. Haha!”

“No, I like Jin because I know your kind.”

Jin suddenly blushed. But Mikaella didn’t mean her words because of her innocence.

“Mikaella, do you know what you are talking about?”

I tilted my head and said, “Yes, why? I like you because you are a friend of mine.“

Jin was taken aback and laughed.

“Hahaha! OK, I see what you mean. You really are sweet. “Let’s eat right now.”

After that, we watched movies in the living room. “I didn’t realize I was dozing off.”

She, really not afraid of me. She is not on her guard.And she sleeps like a pig. Hehehe! Jin giggled alone while watching me sleep.

While Jin watches me sleep, he touches my face, nose, and lips. He restrained himself and said, “You ‘re perfect, kind and beautiful. I really wanted to keep you, but my life was on the brink of danger. I don’t want you to get involved with my work.“

He clenched his hands and added, saying the words, “I will protect you from afar. I like you.” And he kissed my forehead.

When I woke up in the morning, I found myself in bed.

“How did I...? Wait, I remember I fell asleep on the sofa. How come I’m in bed now? I better prepare myself now and go down to ask Jin. I will find Jin after I prepare.“

Sniff.

“Wow! It has a pleasant aroma. Maybe Jin was in the kitchen? I went to see how he was.“ I whispered.

And I found Jin preparing our breakfast.

“Mikaella, come have a seat. Breakfast will be ready soon.

I nodded and followed his order.

“Jin, how did I end up in bed?”

“I carried you to the room.”

My face turned hot with embarrassment, and I lowered my head.

“Mikaella, why are you blushing? Are you shy? Wanna hear something?

I looked up at him and waited for the words that he would say.

“You slept like a pig last night. Haha!” Then he laughed!

I was fuming with embarrassment and covered my face.

“You’re funny and cute, Mikaella.”

“Jin, enough, I feel like I’m going to explode at anytime with embarrassment.”

“Alright, I’ll stop now. Let’s eat.”

“Mikaella, stop heading into the forest. Keep an eye on where you’re going the next time.

“Thank you Jin.”

After we’ve done eating, Jin walked me to the area outside the subdivision."All of a sudden, a car was rushing towards us, threatening to hit us."

Watched out! Jin shouted and hugged me to avoid the accident. I’m shocked and trembling.

“Mikaella, are you OK?”

“No, my feet are shaken, I can’t stand it.” Jin carried me to the bench near us.

Jin thought he was the target of a hit and run by his enemy and hoped that they didn’t notice Mikaella.

“I’m sorry, Mikaella. Because of what happened just now, you’ve been shaken. “

My trembling didn’t stop. Jin took my hand and comforted me. When he looked at me, he felt sorry for what had happened, and he hugged me.

A moment later. I said my goodbyes to Jin. And his expression indicates that he is concerned about me.

“I’m fine now, Jin.” I smiled at him to relieve him.

Jin nodded and watched me walk away.

I started my new journey again.

After a week, while walking on the street, unknown people cornered me, and they captured me. And I was struggling, but everything went black and I went unconscious.

When I woke up, I was in a dark room. I couldn’t see anything. I screamed a lot, but no one heard me.

(Beep) The door is open.

“So, this is the girl who’s clinging to Jin. How dare she!”

“Yes! Boss she’s the one.”

“Let’s me see her face. Oh! Not bad!” He grabbed my hair and harshly yanked it. She took out a knife and aimed it at my neck.

And she slapped me a lot to release her anger.

“Please, stop. I’m hurting! I’m begging you!”

Afterwards, her underling called her.

“Boss, Mr. Evans is here. He’s looking for you.” Her underling stated.

“Tell him to come here.”

“Ok, boss!”

A few moments later.

“You’re so bold now, Dina, for ordering me to come. How was the work that I asked for you?” Mr. Evans is asking to Dina.

“I will do it tomorrow.” Dina replied.

“Who is she?” Mr. Evans stepped close to me.

“Someone who’s clinging to Jin. Anyway, how was my cousin Dianne?” Dina asked Mr. Evans.

“No changes. That’s why I told you and Jin to find that person soon. You know that we have decided on a date for our wedding.” Mr. Evans said.

“Anyway, I’ll finish with this woman first. She dare to approach my Jin!”

“Oh! But you’re not Jin’s lover, anymore. Anyway, did Jin likes peasant like her now? Her neck is bleeding. Remove her blindfold. Let me see her face.” Mr. Evans ordered them.

After removing the blindfold, it stunned Mr. Evans when he saw the girl who was being kidn*pped by Dina.

“Dina, release her now.” Dina wondered and asked, “Why?”

“Just! Released! Her! Now!” Dina was panicked and scared by Mr. Evans.

Dina was taken aback by what she witnessed. Mr. Evans assisted Mikaella.

“Are you OK?” Mr. Evans asked Mikaella.

When I looked at who helped me, “It’s you! I met you again, and save me again.“ I said it in a lower tone of voice, because of embarrassment.

“Let’s treat your wound first in your neck.”

“What is the meaning of this, Mr. Evans?”

“Just shut up! She won’t do that to Jin. Mind your own business.“

“Whatever! Are you disposing of my cousin now? Because of her state, because for this woman?”

Mr. Evans summoned Jin to their secret base. After a moment, Jin arrived.

“Mikaella, how come you’re here?” Jin asked and wondered.

“Why don’t you ask Dina instead?” According to Mr. Evans:...

Jin stared at Dina furiously.

“What’s her name again?” Mr. Evans asked.

“Mikaella, I am Mikaella.” Mikaella introduced herself to Mr. Evans.

Mr. Evans was surprised and had not thought of Mikaella from the orphanage before.

“Jin, take care of her. Protect her. That’s your new job now. Forget about the previous job and concentrate on protecting her and Dina; don’t touch her or I’ll cut those little hands of yours into pieces.” Mr. Evans commanded them.

Everyone was shocked by Mr. Evans’s statement. And they agreed with him.
