CHAPTER 5

“It’s a big house, but there are no maids at all. Kitchen, where are you? I whispered to myself and continued to walk.

Finally, I found the kitchen. And start cooking.

“Maybe he won’t wake up to my noise, right? I believed he already asleep.” I mumbled and continued cooking.

“What are you doing?”

“Ah!!! You surprised me!”

“I’m asking you!” He stated it.

“Hmmm. Cooking? .....because I’m hungry. Can I use your kitchen and food?”

Only this time, and you can leave the house tomorrow morning. “ While saying those words, he was moaning about the pain of his wound.

“Are your wounds still bothering you?”

“I told you to mind your own business.”

“You’re not going to eat?”

“No!” And he walked away again.

After I finished cooking, I began eating. I left a portion for him to eat for breakfast.

I got up early and ate the leftovers from the night before. I preheated the food for him. Then I left the house.

I ran into someone while walking down the street. And she dropped her wallet. I followed her and called her. When I handed over the wallet to her, I saw her crying. And I asked her, “Why are you crying?”

“I’m sorry. I’m in a hurry. My grandpa is in the hospital in critical condition. I have to be there.” She told me and I said. “Can you bring me with you?”

She was wondering asked me, “Why.”

“Maybe, I can help you?” I insisted. And she bring me with her.

In the meantime,

“Is she out now? The man who saves Mikaella asked to himself.

He checked the room where I stayed and mumbled, “She’s already gone out.” He headed to the kitchen to eat his breakfast and saw a bowl on the table with a note. It said,

“Thank you for saving me yesterday, and letting me stay in your house, and for the food and the kitchen. I hope you enjoy the food I left for you as a token of my gratitude for your kindness to me.I wish you well and get well soon. Take care always! :-)”

“Pfffttt! Hahaha! Is this a note or a love letter? Hahaha! I can’t stop laughing, my stomach pained for laughing too much. For the first time in my life, I laughed this much! And I continued laughing.

The phone began to ring.

“Hello babe?_Yes! I’m on my why home now_OK, see you!”

At the hospital.

“Doctor, what is my grandfather’s condition?”

“He is not doing well. I’m afraid that he only has one day left.” The doctor stated,

He abruptly sat down and sobbed. I patted her back and said, “Don’t worry. He’ll be fine soon.“

She looked at me and said, “How will he be OK? He had only one day left.”

“Do you love your grandfather?” I asked her.

And she said, “Yes! I grew up with my grandpa, since I don’t have parents anymore.“

“Can you bring me to your grandpa? But whatever you witness, can you keep it a secret for my safety?” I inquired about her.

She was so confused about my words. Nonetheless, she still brought me to her grandfather.

I started healing her father. She was watching me constantly.

After healing him, grandpa opened his eyes and called his granddaughter.

“Alexia?” her grandpa called to her.

Alexia rushed to call the doctor. When the doctor and nurses arrived in the room, they were very surprised, and the doctor said, “How did this happen? “It’s a miracle.”

Alexia looked at me, and I gave her a sign to keep it a secret. Alexia smiled, and she approached me to hug me.

After the doctor examined the elderly patients, it relieved them to inform Alexia that her grandfather was no longer in danger. And they can go home at anytime.

Alexia was grateful that her father was healthy now. Then we were introduced to each other.

“Mikaella, come here. I will introduce you to my grandpa.”

“Grandpa, her name is Mikaella, and she saved you. Mikaella he is my grandpa, Alexander.”

Following the introduction, Alexia inquired where I was staying.

“I am a wanderer. Whereas I wanted to help people, so I didn’t stay in one place.“ I stated.

“How can we repay you, Mikaella?” She asked me.

“Food.“ I said.

My answer stunned Alexia. And I asked, “You don’t need money? We can give you that for saving my grandpa.“

“No, because I only help you because you love your grandpa so much. That’s enough for me. I’m happy when I see other people happy. Since I help poor people as well, I don’t need money.” I explained it to them.

Alexia hugged me tight and happily said, “You are an angel, Mikaella. Your angelic, innocent face is perfect for you.”

“Hahaha! Thank you!” When Alexia exaggerated her compliments to me, I laughed.

“Anyway, Mikaella, you smell bad.” Alexia said it directly to me.

“I’m sorry, but I haven’t had a shower yet. Because there was an accident when I tried to go to the suburbs. I didn’t realize it was so dangerous until they took my bag.” I told them everything that had happened recently to me.

“It is a relief that someone saved you.”

“Yes, his house is near where I bumped into you. It’s a big house that was built alone.“

I stunned Alexia after hearing my story.

“Mikaella, do you know the owner of that house? He’s well known as a bloodthirsty man. You better not go back there.“ Alexia advised me.

“Is he very dangerous? But, he lent me his food and the kitchen. I don’t perceive him to be dangerous. I explained it to her.

“Whatever, just don’t go back to there.” Alexia insisted.

After the conversation, we left her grandpa for a while and we went to her house to take a shower. She gave me her unused clothes and shoes, as well as some extras.

After I sent back Alexia to the hospital. I said goodbye to her and to her grandpa. Grandpa said I could pay them a visit whenever I wanted.
