Dylan paced the floor between the living room and dining area. Another pass brought him to the front door, but he hesitated before turning around. The words Hope spoke just ten minutes prior still haunted him. She claimed they were out of concern, but they carried a heavy warning… In the wake of her departure, he thought about leaving too.
