Theodore watched Evelyn.
He knew his subordinates well, and he believed that Evelyn had been manipulated by Jennifer because she was too naive. But rules were rules—he couldn't go easy on her just because she had been gullible.
Still, she and Henry had managed to seize the opportunity he'd given them.
Theodore had sent Henry to find Evelyn because he hoped Henry would convince her to tell the truth. It would save him the trouble of a full interrogation and give Evelyn a second chance. If she could learn from this, she might become a good tool in the future.
"You should be dead, but since you confessed, I've decided to send you to Novaheim. If you survive and come back in three years, I'll forgive you."
