It was the same night I told her not to read into anything. I had no idea those words of mine affected her so much, not until I found them written in her diary.
"I met Killian again today, he helped me and Mira out of a sticky situation and brought us back to our dorm. I couldn't let him drop me right by the entrance because of my bodyguards. You have no idea how embarassing that was. I wish Dad didn't have Jovan and Devon shadowing me everywhere. Maybe then, I could at least pretend to be tough."
