Ember's POV
The van rounded a sharp corner and it lurched me forward, interrupting my stillness and causing me to scramble to regain my balance.
I reached blindly for something to steady myself, only to feel my hands land on someone's musculed arms.
My eyes widened in shock and I froze ams hurriedly pulled my hands back as though I had been stung by a bee.
Whoever it was among the Geeks reacted at exact the same moment too, shrugging me off while snapping at me, "Sit still."
"Wasn't it your f*****g van..." My voice trailed off and I let out a sigh, letting my grumble fade away.
It wasn't like he wasn't already aware that I had been jerked forward by the van, he was just being mean.
What else could I expect from men who had grabbed me and tossed me into the back of a van like a sack
