"Hey Alex, where's your little girlfriend?" Ethan teases, a grin plastered on his face.
"I don't know, she said she was going to the restroom," I mumble in response, taking another sip of my water.
"Well, are you going to go find her? There are a lot of guys that would want a piece of a pretty girl like her," Ryder says and I brush his comment off, standing up straight with a sigh.
"I'll be back," I say before walking into the hallway she disappeared into. While the first two rooms were taken by others I'm able to hear her voice talking to someone else in the third room, her voice incoherent.
I try and listen in harder but am unable to decipher any of her words, choosing to go inside.
