Angelica's POV
During breakfast, I decide it's time to finally talk about the incident. "Lucas, what exactly happened?" He begins to tell me how some guy named Aaron was paid by my own father to push me. That he had wanted me to lose the baby and that my mom was the one to beat my dad up. I honestly was taken back by that part. I had thought it was Lucas who punched him. I'll have to have my mom over for a visit soon.
"Angel, I know he's your father but I don't want you anywhere near him. At least, not alone. Promise me, please."
I completely understand his concern and agree to his terms. For the first time in my life, I'm afraid of the one man I thought would always be here for me.
