Lucas's POV
As much as I would like to use my birthday as an excuse to skip school, Angel would definitely object to that. So, after breakfast we headed out. I don't know how anyone knew what today was, but as soon as I walked through the hallway, almost every person we passed wished me a happy birthday. I kissed Angel goodbye as I headed to biology class with Hannah. What a gift this class has presented me with today. We get to dissect a frog. Hannah and I partnered up and she looked like she was about to faint just from looking at the dead animal. I picked up the scalpel and made the first cut. *Thump* Hannah was on the floor. I quickly pick her up and tell the teacher that I'm taking her to the nurse. Before I even open the classroom door, James came running in.
