Lucas's POV
While the girls are shopping, James and I are hanging out at home. After Damion's nap, the three of us go outside and decide to grill. I'm sure the girls will be hungry by the time they get back. James is holding the baby and it makes me happy that he has such a great uncle in his life that adores him so much. I slap on steaks, hot dogs, and burgers. The hot dogs cook quickly, so I hand one to James as I sit down with mine. "James, can I ask you a favor?"
"Yeah bro, what's up?" s**t, why am I so nervous to ask him a simple question. I rub the back of my neck and just spit it out. "Will you be my best man?" A smile forms on his face and I feel relieved at that. "Hell yeah!" I'm so glad I got that out of the way. Now, I can relax and enjoy the rest of the day.
