CHAPTER 1

Isabella’s POV

It’s a beautiful day today, everyone seems to be in good spirits. I just packed a bouquet for Mrs. Santos, a regular customer of mine who always orders lilies.

She’s so cute because she’s so careful when choosing flowers.

“Thank you, Mrs. Santos! Come back anytime,” I said as I walked her to the door.

Suddenly, the wind chime at the entrance rang, and my gaze lifted. It was terrible. It was like slow-mo from a movie. A man entered. Tall, very neat, wearing black long sleeves and slacks. He looked like he was late for a business meeting, but he walked so chill.

He just walked in front of me while talking on the phone, looking straight around, as if he wasn’t looking for anything. Oh my gosh, I don’t know if I’m going to be missed or impressed. But okay, it’s just work.

My staff approached him to entertain him.

“Thank you very much, Bella! Sha, I’ll go first.” Mrs. Santos said to me and I smiled at her. "You're welcome, be careful on the road." I replied back.

Mrs Santos left and I turned my attention now to the man who had just entered.

I approached him, trying to sound as calm as possible.

“Hi, good afternoon! Looking for something specific, Sir?”

He didn't look at me. As if dead. All he did was speak while staring at his phone.

“Red roses. A bouquet,” he said. His voice was deep, he seemed serious, but he didn't even look at me? Rude, but... why did he seem to have such a strong impact on me?

I laughed a little in my mind. What is this? Should I be excited or annoyed? But okay, a customer is a customer. I just did it right away.

I took the most beautiful and freshest red roses on the display. While I was arranging the bouquet, I secretly glanced at him. Seriously, he really didn't let go of his phone, he seemed to be a busy person. Who is this? Feeling VIP? But okay, Isabella, just calm down.

“Here you go,” I said after tying the ribbon. I held the bouquet out to him, daring him to look.

Finally, he looked up. Our eyes met, and for a second, it was as if the world stopped. His gaze was so intense, it seemed like he was saying a lot even though he wasn’t saying anything, I smiled at him as I handed him the Flower.

“This will do,” he said.

His tone was softer this time. He paid, and before I could speak, he had left the shop.

I was stuck in my seat for a moment, still holding the change. What was that? So annoying and thrilling? Who was this man and why did I suddenly feel like I had a drama in my life?

I left the counter, I noticed a black wallet on the floor. I immediately picked it up and looked inside, it was the wallet of the man who had just left.

I immediately ran outside to chase him but I didn't see his presence.

"He's so easy to lose, he forgot his wallet." What's his name? I went inside my shop and sat on the chair.

"Mam Bella, whose is that?" My staff, Cherry, asked. "Ahh, is this it? The guy who ordered roses earlier dropped it." I opened his wallet and saw that it had a black card.

"Wow, it's rare to see a black card these days but the owner has one." Cherry said while carrying the roses to the other area.

"Luiz Miguel Javier...? That person must have a strong influence...Nevermind..." I put the card back inside and closed his wallet.

"Cherry, please check our list to see if we still have deliveries today!" I shouted and moved so that we could finish our work here at the shop.

"There are 2 deliveries, to Southfields and to Cherchy Restaurant!" Cherry shouted at me, okay here we come. "How many orders did they each have?" I asked Cherry.

"200 red roses with 100 lilies and 100 White roses in a bouquet." That's a lot, thank you very much." Okay, I'm ready, help me here." We arranged their order.

After we arranged, I'll deliver their orders, Yes, you heard right, I'll be the one delivering them today because the one delivering them to the customers is sick.

I first arrived at the Restaurant that needed 200 red roses with 100 lilies, Southfields is far away, ehh."Good day, Here's your order of flowers." A woman who was small but beautiful approached me. "Thank you, by the way can I ask?" She said and asked the other restaurant staff to get the flowers.

"What's their name, Where is Sir John? The one who delivers flowers here all the time."

"Ahh, Brother John, he's sick so I asked him to leave for 1 week, so he can take care of himself." I replied and the woman smiled.

"Ah, you're his boss? Well, you're beautiful." The woman said to me and whispered to her other companion. I smiled at them, "Thank you, you're beautiful too."

I said goodbye to them because I have a delivery in Southfields. I arrived already and got out of the car, I went inside and the staff of the place greeted me.

"For Ms....Ms. Serena Smith.." I said to the staff who is checking name. they let me in the hotel, the staff accompanied me to the elevator and when I got there, I had to wait because the lady still had a meeting.

While waiting for the lady in the lobby, my eyes scanned the place because the hotel was big and well-made. It felt like I was in a palace now.

"This place is beautiful.." I said to myself.

"Yes, you're right, this place is beautiful...just like you, Miss." I jumped when someone spoke behind me.

I turned around and saw a man sitting on the couch with his legs crossed and his eyes were black? Then his hair was black too. He was looking at me now, In my eyes.

"A-ahh, Go-good day." I greeted.

"Good day to you, Miss...." He raised his eyebrows at me, as if he was waiting for me to say something.

"Dela cruz,Sir. Nice to meet you." I said with a smile."Good day to you Miss Dela Cruz." He replied and stood up, he came to me and offered his hand for a handshake."Nice to meet you too,Miss dela cruz. I'm Rafael by the way." I accepted it and just smiled.

Ehh,He's so formal,im not used to someone calling me my last name.

"Rafael, Stop it you jerk, Who's that girl?" I turned to the big door that came out. A woman with hazel eyes was looking at us now. I immediately let go of the man's hand in front of me and greeted the woman.

"Good day Mam, I'm from Bell flower shop." And I took the flower that was on the couch, She came to me, That Rafael was just looking at us."I didn't order anything from some shop." The woman answered me.

"Ahh, yes , Someone ordered for you Mam Serena. I'm here to deliver it to you mam." I gave her the Bouquet of white roses and she took it. "Just sign it Mam here." I showed her where to sign.

"Thank you for delivering this here, Did the sender say anything?" Serena asked me.

"Nothing Mam, that's what he just said and ordered, Thank you mam." I answered and was about to leave.

"Maybe Luiz Miguel ordered it for you." I heard Rafael say."No way, that another jerk, I dont think so, Maybe its you!" Serena replied back to him.

I looked at them again because they might know Luiz Miguel Javier,"excuse me, but can I ask you a question? I heard you mention the name Luiz Miguel, do you know luiz miguel...Javier?" They both looked at each other and looked back at me.

"Ye-"

"No! Why?" Serena answered me and raised one eyebrow at me. Rafael looked at her with a 'What the f**k' expression.

Ehh, what!!? do you really know or not, I will just have a hard time talking to these two."Ah is that so, okay thank you again." I left immediately, because I might lose my cool with them.
