ANDAL “Do you wish to attend?” I ask my loyal squire. He hoists my coat jacket onto my shoulder and nods solemnly, meeting my eyes in the mirror. “If you will, my lord, nothing would please me more.” He says and I smile. Life really should not be hard. One should be able to trust the people that are closest to him, I am glad that he and I have come to an understanding. “Then you shall attend.” I tell him. Tonight is the night of the binding ritual. Immediately after yesterday’s meeting after we were dismissed, Meryl got on a horse and took off into the unknown, in her quest to ensure that the binding ritual would go smoothly. I admit grudgingly that the woman is efficient, because the same ritual she said would take place in three days, she has managed to put together in one.
