It has been two days, two days during which all that we have been doing is gauging and analysing each other. We continued on our journey today even though I wanted to start on it as soon as possible yesterday. But he remained adamant that I needed rest if I wanted my body to function and when I tried to ignore his advice, I collapsed right back, proving him right. Grudgingly, I spent a whole day in that cave, curled into myself while I tried to ignore the man who seemed to take up more space than he should.
