After I heard of the woes of the people, I thought about the best way that I could help them. I refuse to involve Ian in anything else that could endanger him but there is nothing at all I could do by myself. I have no fighting experience, no experience in stopping crimes, no prior knowledge of how to stop the rot from corrupting a kingdom from within. I lost a lot of sleep wondering how I was going to go about my promise to do something about the situation of the people until it hit me. I heard my parents talking about a resistance once. It was a passing thought and a glancing word or two about them but they are my best bet at finding people that I will both not endanger with my presence and that will not sell me out to the queen as they surely hate her as much as I do.
